Trim Levels & Features
The Compass is available to Dayton drivers in four trim levels, each of which adds features and amenities.
- Jeep Compass Sport: is equipped with standard push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, rearview camera, and a Uconnect® infotainment system that includes a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity, Bluetooth® audio streaming, a USB port, and a six-speaker audio system.
- Jeep Compass Latitude Adds proximity key entry, alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and satellite radio to the features found on the Sport model.
- Jeep Compass Limited: takes everything on the Latitude and tacks on perforated leather seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, remote start, and a 7-inch driver information display.
- Jeep Compass Trailhawk: This trim is equipped with the amenities found on the Latitude model, but beefs up the SUV's capability by adding a Selec-Terrain system, an suspension that's tuned for off-road fun in Richmond IN, unique exterior styling, and the Jeep Active Drive Low four-wheel drive system.
Performance
The Jeep Compass pairs a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine with a standard six-speed manual transmission to create 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque, with an EPA estimated highway fuel economy of up to 32 mpg. Middletown OH owners can switch that manual transmission to a six-speed automatic for the Sport and the Latitude all-wheel drive models; the Limited and Trailhawk trims team the engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission. When equipped with the available all-wheel drive, the Compass is rated to tow up to 2,000 pounds.
